I am behind you watching every move 
When you think you are making it on your own
Creating and carving your own paths of destiny
Sometimes I giggle from above at the ignorant girl
Whom I love so much!

When you were lost 
I was there ahead of you, showing you 
“Hey! This is the Way.” 

I am the One who put those milestones in your life
I built in the seasons, yes, both spring and winter.
But I promised I will be there for all seasons and all times
Oh, my daughter, if only you knew...
The path ahead of you that I have already prepared
There are seeds yet to sprout
Beautiful flowers yet to bloom
Laughter and giggles beyond those tears 
Gifts and talents you are yet to discover
Friends and favors beyond your imagination
Victories  won where you stood still and I fought for you
If only you knew....

My darling daughter
When you draw near to me
I draw near to you
Then you hear my heart beat next to yours
You see my plans as our minds merge
Your eyes open wide
Seeing the unseen realm
To discern the spirits 
The closer you are to me
The lighter you float in this world
because you are not of this world
The closer you press into me
My light dispels darkness from every crevice of your life
Then everyone will see it in your eyes-
The light that fills your entire being
My glory that you carry
You are a slice of beauty from heaven
Treading the earth for a limited time
You, yes you are a limited edition in my creation
With my feet and my hands
Leaving footprints larger than mine…

I was there when you were created
I will be there with you when you breathe your last
I am with you right now, right this very moment
Do you not perceive it? 

Arise my daughter
Wake up from your slumber
Sword in hand forged with my Word
Put on the armor I paid for with my blood
Peace that surpasses all understanding
Joy, unimaginable, I have in store for you
Raise the blazing torch for all to see
Climb up to the mountaintop so that many can see
I am the Light of the world
So are you...
Shine bright my beautiful daughter
For I know you by name
You are mine
And I am yours...

Every day I wait for you to wake up
As I watch over you through the night
I do not sleep nor slumber
 I know the plans I have for you
Promises made that would never fail
I drop them in your heart as dreams and visions

When you deviate from my plan, my grace covers
My still small voice says
Turn away from that path
This is the Way
Walk in it...
Carry the crown as you worship your Creator
All the days of your life
Praise my name as I am that I am
Sync with me
And life will be a symphony
Of you and me
The most powerful team in the whole universe
I am your Rock and
You are my pebble designed to destroy Goliaths
You are a soldier and a servant
Citizen of heaven but walking on earth
The cross you agreed to carry connects me to you vertically
Connects you to others horizontally
Pick up your cross and follow me daily
You can never get lost when you are found in me
Love them as I have loved you
Forgive them as I have forgiven you
Seek the Father as I showed you how
Everything else will be added unto you

You and I
Our hearts beat together
Pumping the sacred blood of Jesus over mankind
To all who are willing to believe
To everyone who will repent
Make a 180 degree turn
From darkness to light
I rejoice when you reach
Out to others with the Good news
Just as I reached out to you

Until that day comes when you lay your crown at my feet
Wear it with pride
You are second to none, my dear
He paid a price, a big one
My daughter, Oh my precious little daughter
Dance with Jesus today, will you?
When you follow His move
You move with me through eternity
I was there yesterday 
When you were formed in your mother's womb
I rejoiced when you were born

You were my art on a blank canvas
I picked unique colors just for you
I envisioned you long before you were born
You had to be brighter than the Sun, the Moon and the Stars
Deeper and mysterious than the deep blue ocean
Prettier than the prettiest flower I had created
Stronger braver than the roaring lion 
Softer than the softest petals,
Your heart I would call my home 
A software of free will had to be installed freely
Because I am a gentleman who knocks 
Unless you let me in, I don’t barge my way in!

I want you to want me 
I want you to know me 
Because I have so much to share with you.
My time with you is timeless
Moments when you turn toward me 
From this noisy world that seeks your attention
Sunup to sundown I long if you would gaze in my direction.

Every stroke of my paintbrush was intentional
When you were born crying I was smiling at my masterpiece 
I still do 
I am proud of you my precious one
For your name is still engraved in my hand!
